#Todays3 25.8.17 Nazis, Japan, Bees

#Todays3 is our collection of material that we think should be highlighted and discussed more. Whether it is science, politics, history, religion or anything else for that matter. It might not always be current, but it is always relevant. We don’t endorse any of these articles and their sole purpose is to create debate.

-1) Godwin’s Law says that the first person to make comparisons to Hitler or the Nazis loses the debate. Is there a time when this can be done and not lose an argument based on this law? According to its creator, Mike Godwin, yes and the recent events in Charlottesville are fair game according to him;

-2) Why do Japanese people live so long? Some believe that the concept of ikigai might be the answer. There is no direct translation into English, but in essence, it means; reason for being. Most people do not associate this with work and it can change over time;

-3) Our friends the bees are at it again. Many claims have been made about royal jelly, as it is known, many of which have been unproven. This jelly can turn normal bees into queens when one is needed. Research in Slovakia shows that this may be a great way of healing wounds and much more natural than some of the alternatives;
